Welcome to Southeast Birds!
This blog is intended for birdwatchers, new and experienced.
I am pretty new to birdwatching myself and wanted to start a blog to teach and learn about the birds in my area. Whether you are just beginning or if you have been birdwatching for a while there should be something here for everybody.
Feel free to comment if you have questions, information to share, or if you just want to talk about birds. Please keep in mind I intend to keep the content safe for the whole family as I believe birdwatching is a great way for the whole family to come together, so if you do comment, keep it clean and unoffensive.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I’m just getting back from vacation. I too hope to do some traveling so that I can build more of a picture gallery.

Hello Michael,
Just like you I’m new about birding and I really like it. I’m more incline to the photography and so far only shoot inside the perimeter of my backyard. I’m sure that I will extend to other places in the near future. I’ll be traveling and will include birds to my list of things to do.:)
